That can't be a genuine severe winter weather warning, as there
was no default library pic of a person cross-country skiing to
work.
The Express, eh! Since interest in Dianagate and McCanngate died
down, they've really struggled for front pages, haven't they?

Why would anyone WANT or hope it to be a horrible cold and snowy
winter? You lot must be mad!

I don't work from home and I travel to work every day, but
winter weather comes every year so I don't see any point in
disliking it.
I see it as an adventure and a bit of fun and a break in boring
routine.
Plus I have a big yellow lever... :smile1
Get stuck in and enjoy it.

Some of us live on the road and we know neither our vehicles or
other drivers are capable of coping

Fortunately I am now retired and no longer have to commute.
However the last few winters have not been any sort of
challenge, I have not had to put the motor into 4wd to maintain
traction. The only problem I found was most other drivers are a
bit clueless in snow.

Love the white stuff but not sure how I will cope in Cumbria
with an over loaded rear wheel drive van running on slicks
'cause the local tyre monkey says "the leasing company won't
change them till the canvas is showing", still could be fun.
