Drew, I'm impressed (again) that long distances do not put you
off - despite leaking water pumps and that... Kev can come too
if he has fixed his naughty bumper...
Anyhow, I'm up for it as well... we just need to establish our
own ferry line...the existing ones are just to pricey, or so
they do group discounts?.... I might be in Germany at that time
anyway (in the process of buying a house/cottage in the old east
for silly money you would just get a caravan for in good old
UK), just have to get the truck there as well... speaking of
which, IF I get the house, I already visualise 'Landrolafs
International Series Land Rover Meeting' (working title) in the
little village (in the equivalent of the lake district) - lakes
you can actually go swimming, forests, and tons of green
lanes... enough land around for camp site... if I play it right
it would be the biggest event there since the wall came tumbling
down (credit here to The Hoff of course, he did it all
singlehandedly)...

Sounds good to me.
Dover-Dunkirk is the cheapest ferry by a long way. Book well in
advance is the trick and find the discount codes online.

Heater control valve actually, Olaf. Then bodged with Magic
Steel - now repaired with new valve, and ready for distance
work.
