I was given these recently (not sure why as I don't have a model
       railway......yet :rolleye0012:) but I don't know what they are
except that they're 00 gauge. :haha: Can anyone help?

I was given 2 more as well which I recognized as a Deltic 55 and
an Intercity 125. These were in addition to a coal wagon and a
       tanker.

I'm no expert but the top one looks to be some kind of 0 6 0
pannier tank loco in Great Western Railway colours, look at some
British 0 6 0 locos on google and you'll prob find the right one
!..... Must dig out my old model trains ;D

Top one is a Lima GW 94xx tank engine
The middle one I think is a Lima Cass 57 which were the mainstay
of BR along with their parents the 47s
The bottom looks like a Lima Class 73 which were hybrid locos
that could run as deisel/electric or use the southern networks
       3rd rail as electric only.

The middle one is a class 47 in Railfreight livery.

Arghhh my eyes decieved me !!
47/57 Well they are in fairness virtually the same thing to the
       uninitiated.
I only count rivetts on LRs

Thanks chaps much appreciated. Now I can sound knowledgeable
when someone asks what they are. Instead of "fuck knows, trains
       I think" :smilewide:

Would be interested Nick if it were Scalextric, which it isn't!
BTW Dave how the hell did you know that was a 47 and not a 57
they both look the same to me?

How much for yon Duff and yon Weetabix?
       BTW.. the Duff/Spoon was a 47 in RF Livery... 57 weren't around
       until AFTER the RF livery.
