RTVing at Sewel yesterday

Entered the CVLRC trial at Sewel yesterday (moved from Quainton
at last minute) and had a fantastic day.
Only 3 leafers playing, but Chiltern has a good turnout usually,
plenty of S1s trialing though one had been boinged.
Despite being awoken with Thunder, lightning and torrential
rain, there was a slight wavering, but I was up by then so off
we went.
I double entered with one of my lads, it was his first actual
time trialing, while the other has just sold his 1st boingy and
bought an S3 to drive himself. The day started with a light
drizzle, but despite the forecast most of the day was in
fabulous sunshine, only the last two sections were hit by heavy
rain.
The final section it was decided to remove some of the more
dangerous clay down and side slopes prior to driving.
What a great day, then off to the clubhouse for a drink
afterwards. drink(*&

Was going to try the extra tractions out yesterday, but when I
tried to undo the nuts they were all too tight, bloomin Stu had
used the airgun when we put his modulars on last month
:smiley-furious: bless him. Looking for another set for the S3
that Dom has just bought now ::)
