Will 235/85s fit on a 7 1/2" rim or do i need a wider tyre?

235/70-16 is a std fit on the disgay with 7inchers, so IMHO
235/85 should easy fit on 7 1/2 rim

Depends what the makers say.
Cooper discoverer stt are recommend on a 6-8 inch rim.
General grabber at2 6-7.5 inch
BFG km2 are 6-7.5inch
I'd say you'd be ok.

No stigmund, the new rims are not aftermarket or alloy, their
not even gay disgay reversed either :).

1 ton rims are soooo last year, everybody has them. Im raising
the bar in hetro rimmage here. THE new cool rims on the block
are.......
