I stuck a rivet in every hole that was stupidly placed above a
door seal and re-drilled them over a less critical area. It
seems to have mostly worked, I say mostly as there is no rhyme
or reason to Land Rover water leaks and I have several that
spontaneously appear in very particular weather events (or
depending on which side slop I park)....

Heres an idea for you. We used to have a UPVC window sill which
would fill up with water and leak inside,i tried all sorts to
fix it.
In the end I stuck a piece of wick type rope between the sill
and the window outside and let it hang down the wall, when it
gets wet it wicks down the rope and gravity draws the water
away.
