I run 235 dirt devils on forward control rims and on disco
steels and I also run kuhmo kl71s on +30 mm mods on my 2a and 3
both 88s I tend to switch about depending on where im going and
what terrain im on and what the boingy has on it road or muds
but they all fit and have no problem with any of them

I'm going for a set of goodyear duratracs in 245 75 16 flavour,
they're apparently an aggressive all terrain tyre with good
tarmac manners (even in the wet and snow)
As most of my miles is on tarmac i'm changing from running muds
       all the time to these.
I will keep a set of muds but if the duratracs are as good as
the reviews ive read, I doubt they will see much use.

Rob 1769. Avon "strange Bastards" a term given to Avon
Rangemasters. Had a set on my daily driver for three and a half
years now and still plenty of life in them.

Like some I used to run 235/86R16's of various brands over the
years. With a standard 2.25 petrol it was grand and made
cruising at 50mph without and overdrive rather reasonable.
Didn't have to drop gears all the time even being amongst the
       fells.

Thats expensive for them .The guy I get my champ bits off gets
them for between £75 to £80 a tyre. They howl great but being
crossplies they are also limited grip wise,You might as well fit
bargrips get the howl and the full on suicide experience. And
will somebody change the fucking title!! Its spelt TYRES!!! Not
       stupid yank spelling.!!!!
