PoM October 2013 - Submissions

The rules:
#1 - Entries must have been taken during the previous month,
i.e. October 2013 entries taken in September 2013.
#2 - Must include a leaf-sprung Land Rover or part of and
absolutely no hint of boingerness.
#3 - Entries must be your own work (unless you're in the shot
too so have got someone else to take the pic).
#4 - Photos submitted should ideally be no wider than 800 pixels
and no taller than 600 pixels. (obviously these figures are
reversed if taking a portrait style pic).
#5 - No more than two entries per-person, per-month.
Contravention of any or all of the above rules will result in
the offending photograph being erased.
The best of a month's submissions will be chosen by the forum
admin around the 15th and reposted in a poll for the membership
to vote. The poll will run for the rest of the month.
In the event of a tie, the winner shall be chosen by the forum
admin.

A couple of submissions from me this month, both of the
ambulance stateside.

The first is the rather dry Owyhee Reservoir, it was the end of
irrigation season but I've never seen it completely empty like
this.

The second is on the way to the ghost town (ish) of Silver City,
Idaho. The photo really doesn't do justice to the view.
