got my own

well ive been on her nearly 2 years since my wife bought her
series2 109. but as that is currently in bits and taking a lot
longer than planned. The itch to actually drive one and the
rapid price rise forced our hand and last night I got my own
:giddy: a 2a 88" rag top 2 1/4 petrol. chassis seems great with
new rear, bulkhead gonna need a bit of work and electrics proper
playing up no wipers and lights very temporamentle so wife had
to tailgate me down the m69 at 8 last night, what an experience
steering all over the place and on over run sounds like rear
diff gonna disintergrate but cant stop grinning ;D get some
photos on soon

Great stuff, i think i will need to get another cos my rebuild
is taking far too long too.

Excellent stuff. Hoping to fire mine up tomorrow after a tapping
sound from the engine had developed and has now (hopefully) been
sorted... ::)
