Help No Lights

Hello All
Set off for work this morning and had no headlights no side
lights blue light on dash was on permenant and left indicator
was lit butnot flashing. Rear lights worked and right indicator
too Any ideas? Wont get to check fuses till later and its
bloody dark at half five now without any roadside lights

The multifunction switch has probably spazzed out. Buy the best
you can get in this case. Cheap ones ARE shit.

I would check the front earth as well as its odd that the
indicator is affected if it is just the switch.

No need to check the fuses. There is no fuse in the headlights
circuit.

Multifunction switch?
Is that the switch to put the lights on? Or indicator switch
stalk?

Yes, indicator and dip/main switch. Unplug it to see if other
lights go out. Might be the victim of a failed theft attempt
too.

Right indicator worked fine
Would indicator stalk affect headlights switch?
Not sure by what you mean a failed theft atempt Nobody had got
in the vehicle

Just discovered this problem with mine. The indicator stalk as
Albert says is probably the problem. The switch obviously works
the dim dip - headlights and the indicator. They are quite
fragile and get used lots. The contact end up touching each
other or the spring for the indicator contact gets loose and
will make every thug else work! Mine was also cooking the
indicator relay which the po had very kindly bodged in! Waiting
on the posty for knew bits I type! Safe bet the is your problem.

Had no side lights working The indicator stalk doesnt work these
So my thinking is it could be the main light switch gone
Any more ideas Still in work so not had chance to look

Update
Put left indicator on side lights flash and rear left indicator
Put right indicator on front and back work Side lights work on
switch No headlights either dim or full beam
