Could anyone confirm whether the screw union for both the inlet
and outlet on a series 3 are the same in diameter and thread?
cheers Toby

Looking at the one I have on the bench I would say yes but don't
have pipes to confirm!

Assuming it is the same as the 2a (glass bowl, made by AC etc)
then I would say yes. I have just rebuilt one of mine and the
same union fits both ends - I used it to clean out the threads.
Can't tell you the thread or size though!

That's good thanks.
Still can't find a lift pipe to sediment bowl pipe so going to
make one up as a temp fix. Seems the lift pump to carb pipes are
cheap and easy to source.

Surely that's your fuel in from the tank. My lift pump and
sediment bowl is all one. Can take a pic if it helps!

Yes it is all in one on mine too. Its the pipe from the lift
pipe on the tank to the sediment bowl - they are impossible to
find.

Oh I see. Mine must be after market then as its plastic pipe
with a metal pipe and the union on the end!

Yes, they're both the same. 1/2" UNF.
