       Evening all.
Are 109 safari rear side panels the same size as 88's or 88 van
       sides?
Reason is my rear window seals and runners etc are fucked and a
temporary measure I was looking to swap the affore mentioned
       items!
       Thanks, Steve

110 station wagon sides will fit an 88 and a 109 too.

Ah cool, thanks for the info. I'm in the process of aquiring an
88 for next to nothing and am hatching a cunning plan!

Come to think of it, 110 full length sides fit 109s too, it's
only the 90 where things were stretched so they don't fit an 88.
Cunning plan sounds good...death of a boingy??? ;D

ha, no, no boingy action im afraid. I've aquired an 88 from a
patients husband, with a spare ex mil gearbox for a 100 bucks
and its got van sides. The rear windows on my 109 are fucked so
I thought I would put the van ones on and make a removable
bulkhead for behind the rear seats, that way having a 5 seat van
that I can also use as a camper etc. That's the plan anyway! as
for the 88, depending on what the chassis is like I may keep it
and have it as a pick up but that's a future plan!

Hello bud, if you can afford £80 odd, buy ROCKY MOUNTAIN
slides. It took me one hour to do the first side and about forty
minutes to do t`other. They are alloy twin track with good
rubbery inserts.the kit comes with stainless screws. I also used
a adhesive black silicone to make what will most likely be the
LAST time they will ever be done!!!H :thumbs:HAPPY HUNTING.
