Fairey Mayflower drum winch. Anyone get any info?

Good evening. Ive just bought another 88 to play around with,
much to the annoyance of my beloved!
It has a Fairey drum Winch fitted which runs from a PTO fitted
to gearbox.
I have looked on the interweb and it appears to be a 'Mayflower'
model. I cant find much info about it.
Managed to play around with it and get it working but wondered
if anyone had an instruction book or workshop manual or general
info for such a beast!
Help and guidance greatly appreciated as always.
Cheers Mike.

happen to have one :P if we are talking same winch.
no manuals here sorry but you could search about online?
but i guess they are straightforward to dismantle and repair
:-?
they are not an engine that requires fine tuning etc
Its shearpin is located in the PTO drop box on the rear part of
the shaft
just flick a small 'lever' and there it is connecting two
plates. just make sure it does not drop off
i used to keep it in dash just in case Pto is accidentally
engaged
:)
