Re the 'oiling leaf springs' thread, what other blatant
unthruths and downright scare-mongerings are regularly pedalled
by the 'knowledgeable'?
Oiled-leaf-spring grinding-paste suspension failure...
205s won't fit 5" rims
Crossplies are the Devil incarnate and will seek to end your
life the very second you roll out of the tyre-fitters...
Drum brakes are crap and only the insane wouldn't spend
thousands on a disc-brake conversion.
Early type wheel nuts pulling through later wheel stud holes.
Isn't it just a case of everyone knows someone who it's happened
to but you've never met anyone who has been killed to death
because they'd used standard dampers with parabollics...
Any more?
