My Series 3. Again.

Hello all,
Some may remember me/my truck from more than a few years ago (on
the old forum). Anyway, several trips away, a medical issue and
yet another melted down relationship meant the project had just
gathered dust... Anyway - enough excuses. Last weekend the
covers were taken off, the made-from-scratch tub was mounted on
chassis along with the first time the new bulkhead has ever
rested on the chassis. The rear cage has been bolted in place.
Work will continue in fits and starts as I now live 3 hours away
from the vehicle.

I have to credit my good friend Ian of IRB Developments for all
of the hard engineering stuff.

It has been a torrid 15 months. Nothing compared to your mash
up but not something I want to go through again. Please accept
my apologies for disappearing with no word - I hope it didn't
leave you in any bother.
The OCD part is right... I have actually made the decision to
get the truck finished well but not outrageously (for me)
detailed hence I wont be spending weeks doing blind rivets -
i've knocked originality into a cocked hat anyway! I want to
drive the thing now before the worlds supply of derv is burned
up or banned :haha:

I've still got my Lightwieght rebuild on the go...... 4 1/2 yrs
on :haha:
and its only about 15 ft away from me right now !!!

Welcome back, is this the rebuild that had a massive amount done
