Hm some pictures,
laika (the russian dog who ventured space sadly without return -
i named her so months before going to alps i was still not sure
if i make it back one piece ???)
Camped on the alps home made tent

picture from front capstan has no drive now and am thinking of
installing a fairey drum winch i have but using a hydraulic
source since it has an O.D.

me rebuilding the 2.25 3mb diesel, sadly tappets recieved were
imitation and wore off after a year including cam it had new old
stock head, new crankshaft new pistons and a rebore it ran like
a dream) now has a 2.25 5 mb from other Series of mine (ps that
monster is me)

both pictures were in alps, while with the German Mike from
alpine r*vers (mike and mandy)
thanks for comments, i am thinking of going Pick up this year.
saving of fuel and also increasing load space and good looks :)
tent may be redundant if any of you interested :) it is in
canvas if i remember well :rolleye0012:

Nice looking motor there, I hope you carry adequate protection
and make sure you don't get bum aids from those inferior motors!

hi stuey
are you referring to the coilers in pic one ?!
it was 3 weeks running in italy non stop most of time day and
night shifts driving, covered almost 2500 miles.
the only fail was a broken passenger mirror (sleep driving) and
a failed wire to the starter solenoid :P and a lost pair of
bushes from one of the rear shocks.
i am too obsessed with her running well.. but what can i say it
is a series :\ even though simple and solid .. drags along
continuous niggles to take care off :2mo5pow:
