Recently acquired a 1981 (registered at least) SIII 109"
6-cylinder truck cab - two owners, 20k miles, Fairey overdrive
and hubs, and a fairly comprehensive history with the original
line ticket etc. It's taxed, tested, pretty original and
generally in good order, but hasn't been used for a decade so
needs a bit of "recommissioning".
First plans are to get the white 8-spokes and 265 Special Tracks
on it, some Corbeau buckets in and then get the springs on top
of the axles. Also got a roll bar with four spotlights and some
chequer-plate wing-tops and sides to fit; longer term I'm hoping
to do a Defender front-end and door conversion and spray it
either G4 orange or matte black. I'm also considering fitting
the big bull-bar I've got, but not sure the chrome will go with
all the chequer-plate.

Sounds like a great idea, whip that pile of shit out from under
the bonnet while you are at it.

I bet you've been dreaming that all up whilst having a
'pokey-bum-wank' and sucking on a used butt plug (cleg nuts et
al).
Don't let these guys put you off, if you spray it matt black at
least it will match your rubber gimp suit and your collection of
butt plugs. :finger:

OK, OK - I was lying about the bull-bar.
6-cylinder will be staying.

Nom du Jour = Name of the day.
He'd have been better off calling himself "Lapin du Jour"
