Hello from South Wales with my series 2A

Hello all!
I signed up to OLLR a few weeks ago now but have only just got
around to making my first post here.
Some of you may remember me from the Series 2 club forum, I was
username 'Gryff' but i havent logged in for so long that my
account got deleted (fair enough i suppose!)
I've just finished fitting a 300TDi into my series, along with a
discovery R380 that I've shortened with a kit from
Shop4autoparts, and an LT230 Transfer box. apologies to the
purists reading this  but it's my daily drive and i live
on the top of a huge hill.
It's a bit of a squeeze but my props are standard lengths so
I'm happy (standard series rear, and a defender TD5 front prop
fits on the front). I haven't witnessed the front UJ's
binding/etc so far due to the permanent 4wd, which im also happy
about!
I'm going to be at Eastnor Landrover show with my girlfriend...
her first show so it should be an eye opener for her :) I hope
to see some of you there! I'll have a look around the forum to
see if you have a club camping spot or something... if i'm
welcome with my bitsa rofl
All the best,
Tom

Thanks all! yeah I've taken a few photos from the conversion -
I'll put them up tonight!
I was going to wait until I had some proper intercooler hoses
fitted but I guess the VW campervan heat exchanger hose I've got
on it at the moment will do for now
All the best,
Tom
Oh and whoever asked where I'm from, i'm living in swansea but
'originally' from near Big Pit mining museum (middle of nowhere)
