LATP ....
By: mistericeman Date: August 9, 2013, 1:04 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
Right folks the time is upon us ...and as ever time will no
doubt disappear in short order as we get closer ....
Just a few pointers ...
Fire wise
Wood is good ...
If we want to keep warm of an evening then contributions to the
communal fire fund will be most gratefully received ...IF you
have to buy a net of logs on the way there then so be it ...A
small price to pay for the warm rosy glow a burn offers us .
Scran wise
The usual format of BBQ one night ...Home made stew/curry/etc
provided by myself and Vinny AND a special meal on the Sunday
night ;-)
Tea wise
I shall more than likely have my Burco on the boil for plenty of
hot water for Tea/coffee/pot noodles etc Help yourself as usual
it's free and there for the use of all
(Stick some water in if it's getting low and no one else has
noticed if you would be so kind ...)
Contact number wise
IF you haven't got someones number and want mine so that you can
get access late on ...
P.M. Me
Beer wise
The usual suspects will be bringing a Watney 7 party keg or so
(AND if i manage to get my shit together (broken
landrovers/work/life in general wise) i "should" be bringing a
barrel or so to bolster the alefest that LATP has become .
Behaviour wise
The usual party atmosphere will be in place and I'm crossing my
fingers for a minor miracle wise and the FFrock will hopefully
be in attendance ...Pm me IF you have any stuff you'd like
adding to our usual classic rock playlist .
Hopefully no ragging of grass bankings or pissed up driving etc
just the good old fashioned fun of the odd pink smoke grenade
under John Eastwoods motor etc .
Hopefully we can raise a sum of money higher than each previous
year to forward the work that T'pit does ...
This will be my last one as an "Official" of OLLR ...and believe
me it is with VERY mixed feelings that I hand the reins over to
someone else ...Though I am sure whoever takes over will do
their best both for OLLR and for the NCM who have supported us
by kindly allowing us the hospitality of their facilities .
I will more than likely still organise the odd (And after Wierd
dale AND Halloleaferween some have very definitely been ODD)
BUT they will not be under the OLLR umbrella and though the good
people of OLLR will undoubtedly be taking part they will no
longer be "underwritten by OLLR funds etc,
So apologies IF I organise something and ask for a small deposit
to cover any small deposit i have to make (Fnarrr Fnarrr)
Most of all look forward to seeing you all there for a bumper
leafer filled weekend
AND thanks for all your support over the last few years in all
the stuff i have had a hand in folks,it has been muchly
appreciated

I'll be lobbing in a sack of coal and a crate of ale, as it's...
a) First 'Pit' I've been to since that howler of an event with
Sebastien, Vincent and Pierre and the mindless convoy of
shitters which the man hoped to get back to France.
b) The last one Ian will be captaining, so public school-esque
japes will abound.
c) I just want to jizz-off a week-end with the very salt of the
earth and the best of people.

Yep, another vote of thanks here for Ian.
Although we don't usually get involved in most of the
shenanigans going on over t'other side of t'pit, we've
appreciated the welcome we get and the acceptance of our more
moderated camp over on the showground :rolleye0012:
See you there for possibly the best one yet - 4 days makes it a
bit speshul this year
Cheers, from the LRCC crew :smilewide:

I may be able to bring a shed to burn, can be broken up or left
in sections to reassemble prior to burning. ;D

being helped out at any time. :wanker:

Fuck em. Tell em you will do it if they pay your deposit and
booking fee of £120 because you lost your space...... then
simply pocket the cash and go to work from T'Pit, then come
'home' to your tent.
