Just to refresh and summarise the situatio thus far; HippyDave
has a barrel sorted for Friday night, I have one for Saturday,
none for Sunday. Last year we had 2 on Saturday night and Sunday
didn't exist. I would encourage anyone that can to sort another
(bright) barrel for Sat night with any left over to be for
Sunday. Expected terms and conditions (subject to confirmation
by Vinny) is that beer to be swapped for coinage equal to the
value of 2 pounds sterling per pint and surplus monies to be
donated to OLLR to be used as it will(usually donated the Museum
aka Pit) let me know who might accept the challenge of obtaining
more beer, if no takers you go thirsty, drink tea, or byo! Don't
forget your cups to drink it from

Apologies for not getting back to your PM Alex ...time/life etc
got in the way ...We "should" have approx 50 folks camping give
or take ...some have/will inevitably drop out .
I should all being well have a couple of 20 litre Cider
polypins/bags in a box ...AND if all goes well a barrel too
(need to sort out some 'ose for my hand pump and summat to drop
in the barrell (Any suggestions ???)
£2 a pint across the board with any excess after costs to T'pit
fund sounds most acceptable

For a hose into the barrel Ian, try and make it so that it
floats and takes it from the top (assuming here it isn't
bright). I used a spear last year, which is also fine. You can
make a float with a wine cork or two attached to the end of the
hose?

Though it's looking like i can hire a pump (Glad i bust a nut
sourcing a nice hand pump ...ohhh well ) for a £5 from where i
hope to get barrel from.so imagine it will come with 'ose and
extractor/spear etc .
Hey ho ...beer and cider what could possibly go wrong lol ....
