       Beer at the Pit
By: AlexB Date: August 6, 2013, 9:58 am

As seems to be my won't, duties of Beer co-ordination seems to
be my small contribution to the success of LATP and as such, I
would like to do a brief evaluation of supply and demandm To
wit, who, apart from myself is planning to bring a barrell, and
or what and when? I shall bring a 9 of Nook,s finest which shall
be bright to enable instant gratification. I shall also be
bringing the means of dispensing. You are all reminded to bring
receptacles from which to drink it out of. Next questio is how
many folk are we expecting? We don't want a surplus and a
shortfall would be even worse. Answers as soon as possible
       please.

Well there's 3 nights imbibing to do this time.
Personally, I should be able to get through 2 gallons of fine
       ale in that time.
I know the supply ran out very quickly when I was up there two
       years ago.
       Cheers
       Simon.

I will be away sadly but I would expect most to drink about four
pints a night with some going over that amount. The older you
are the less you drink so maybe an age chart v the number of
nights you are staying? one pint for those over 80 and 7 pints
for those under 25 would be a good base line to work towards
with a non linear line between the two. Or post a list saying
how many nights and potential suppage.

I might just be working out how much to charge :smilewide:
HippyDave - you bringing yours on Friday or Saturday or Sunday
or even Monday and will it be "bright" or have to settle?

Will this calculation work for Jim? It would work for me
provided some one sends me to bed, the longer I stay up drinking
the thirstier I become, I can often be found as dawn breaks
filtering cig butts through my tache as I scavenge part finished
cans from black bin bags :bleurgh

Well, I shall be bringing a small amount to gratify me until the
barrels are up and delivering... drink(*& I shall attempt to
make use of the facilities this year, without subsequently
decorating the grass in the morning. >vom< Dave, The Leveller
would be a nice one to bring. :rolleye0012: :smilewide:
My biggest worry is having enough money. I have Drew bringing me
some stuff, so I must be ABSOLUTELY certain not to spend the
money he requires. Whatever is there, I shall sample it.

Four pints? this is OLLR not the 'kin W.I. !!
I will do my best to assist you Alex - that stuff from the Nook
is rather good, although 'rare' where I live. Hopefully going to
get a 'taste' for it at the Huddersfield Food and Drink festival
       later this week.....
