Odiham Fire Show 2013

As there is normally some quality leaferage at the Odiham Fire
Show I wandered along with FMW yesterday. Here are a few photos
of the leafers in evidence, I'd have given homes to most of
them. ;D

I had a ride in VDY420Y, originally a South Yorkshire machine
but latterly more well known as one of the stars of the TV show
"London's Burning" series 8 and 9 with a mickey mouse J plate
applied. Perkins V8 power lurks under the cab. ;D

I'm not a big fire engine Leafer person, but that BAN 438H 2A is
bit tasty and the GPX 586N S3 with the Godiva on the front gives
me the horn.

I think that would have been my first choice. One of five
ordered by the MoD for RAE sites this one lived at RAE
Farnborough, constructed by Sun Engineering in Feltham. 8)

Some bloody nice trucks there! I quite like Fire Engine leafers
and if I had the space/money/etc I'd definitely have one...or
two!

They had quite a few of the appliances pumping Drew, they
construct fake buildings out of pallets and the like then set
fire to them in the central showground. It is slightly cheesy
tear arsing around a field with the blues and twos on but shows
what the appliances are capable of. I didn't see and of the
Solihull products in action, it seemed to be the full size
machines only.
