Sound like it might be quicker to list the good points ?
Ignition Key, N/S sunvisor and several rivets on the back door
were all assessed as sound

Let's see the sheet then. I've had them like that, quite often
worse than they seem. The Disco had 9 failure items, 8 of which
were rust. The sheet looked far worse than it was.

Nick, sorry to here that, sometimes it's not that bad I've had
it where a couple of items are the result of the third item
failing. Other than that you need to take it to Mr Eastwoods
MoT man!

OLLR hitsquad?
You may be able to borrow OYF for a few weeks in a week if thats
any use, as that'll become my second vehicle if all goes to
plan.

You show me yours (fail sheet) and I'll show you mine. I haven't
got one yet but my 109 will be failing its mot tomorrow morning.
I've sent hours upon hours upon hours trying to get it ready and
I'll need to spend some more tonight if it is going to have a
chance of passing. All the big jobs are done like new cross
member and other chassis rot and the brake pedal that used to
stick down and not do any braking is fully functioning again.
It's the wee jobs that are pissing me off like the electrics

Ok here's my fail list
1& 2 front seats insecure (I need to tighten the bolts))
3- rear drag link end ball Joint dust cover excessively
deteriorated so that it no longer prevents the ingress of dirt.
4&5 - steering lock devices insecure. (two new clamps needed)
6 NSF body or chassis has excessive corrosion. (the foot of the
door post that bolts to the outrigger)
Nothing major so im quite happy considering someone had dumped
it at the scrappy 18 months ago.

finally got round to look at my landy(away all week at work)
looks like its off the road now :haha:
needs both 'b' posts and sills a body support cross member and
some patching up here and there + odds and sods
the up front costs are too much all at once so its park up time
:banghead
time to look for a cheap runabout
