Dorset Steam Fair!
By: a twig Date: July 24, 2013, 2:23 pm

The missus and I have just got our tickets for the Saturday.
Think we might bring a tent along and camp sat night if the
weather looks good.
Anyone else turning up? I'll be the big ugly one poncing around
in my "not a club" OLLR t-shirt so if you're going you can say
hi or duck as to personal preference! :) Would be good to put
some faces to names though!
Cheers

Yes we will be there, possibly camping it up with the twisted
brass and fairy lights in the showmans' line up by the sound of
it :o

A bit far for us, but if you see this Ape (the one on the
left!), pass on our regards, won't you
It was Patrick's first vehicle which we restored when he was 16
(11 years ago) and sold last year to a guy from down south. He
said he wanted it to take to the big steam fairs to drive around
in.

I'm going this year for the first time! Looking forwards to it,
never having been before. I am cheating a bit though, as I am
going down on a vintage coach, which will then become an
exhibit!

Just got back from Astle Park, where rollers seemed to be in
abundance this year - a great selection. Also bumped into Adam R
of this parish, and we have entered into discussion for a
cracking event next spring - more to follow.......
