Blue Dormobile project. tdi plus LT77.
       Engine runs nicely.
Into gear and prop turns but we are still stationary. Silly
bugger, I have got the free wheeling hubs in 2wd.
Put in 4wd. Prop turns a bit then stops, same in reverse and hi
       and low.
       Any ideas?
       Clutch not working / engaged?
       Not happy bunny

       as suggested try diff lock
i've just had to swap out an LT77 and transfer box due to scrap
splines and the centre diff having collapsed, without it being
in difflock it wouldn't move an inch, from memory after
stripping the transfer down it had stripped the drive to the
rear axle (loads and loads of iron powder in there, not filings)
without engaging difflock both props would shudder back and
forth, engage difflock and it basically just drove on the front
       axle

fingers crossed that isn't your problem
it's in the bit/block to the right of this picture but the iron
powder had taken the surface of every bearing to bits so
wouldn't just be strip and replace three or four little bits

       most definitely rofl
the transfer box has it's own diff in it (LT230) so as the slack
is taken up then only the rear output spins
as said engage difflock and it will then move

Well, tried that and it made no difference. Got to come in now
for my tea and can't play out again till tomorrow. (going out
       for tea)
Perhaps the diff lock is not working.
Lever and bracketry seems to move ok

i have heard of them seizing up from lack of use, it might just
be the pivot points in the linkage need tapping and wd40
       squirting on them
being as i've not long started messing with the wrong sprung
vehicles i can't be of much further help

All the linkages do is preload a spring which then slides the
locking dog into position as and when the splines are aligned,
so you may have to look inside to see if it is moving ok.

Does this mean your hubs are locked or unlocked?? Not locked no
       go?
