       Sunday 21st July - Alton Bus Rally, Watercress Line (Hampshire)

       Not strictly a Land Rover event but a good day out nonetheless
       for those who like buses, classic cars and trains. The event
       itself is free to attend although you need to buy tickets for
       the train. This year there is fantastic news - due to a number
       of lineside fires kettles are banned :giddy:  , traction
       tomorrow will be provided by 50 027 "Lion" >rock< and a
       Hampshire unit (DEMU).
       FMW and my 88 will both be there to ensure some leaferage is
       present, if anyone feels like coming along I'll be around the
       control bus helping out.   :thumbs:
