Lane Repair Help Needed

This is a joint Treadlightly / GLASS repair
Saturday the 4th February
Southwell Nottinghamshire
We have been asked to clear a lane that is on a winter TRO
We will be required to clear leaves and winter debris off the
lane to prevent it from causing more damage
Work will involve raking leaves back and cutting back any fallen
trees
Might be a bit of pot hole filling in
All that can help please pm me or post below
This one the locals wanted closed but after all the work done in
the past by us and the council to keep it open
We should have the press on site as well

what times are you looking at as i work till 11 and it would be
around midday before i tip up, if thats not too late.

Due to the snow on the ground and the forcast for the next few
days Notts rights of way have put the date back to the 25th
February

To all Midlands Treadlightly Volunteers
The meeting point for Saturday 25th February is the old farm
shop building at Combs Farm at 10 am , right by the junction of
the A614 and A6097. It is now a caravan sales place. If all
vehicles except those that are necessary to get people to site
can be left there then that would be good. The owner of the
business is aware but it would be worth someone popping in to
see him and to ensure that vehicles are parked sensibly so that
there is no impact on his business.
The works are to scrape away a level of leaf litter and mulch
that has formed on the hillside section of Rob Lane. There is an
area towards the bottom of the hill where all the scrapings can
be deposited. The best method will be to have a 4x4 and trailer
at the top of the hill, facing down it. Load the trailer with
the leaf litter and mulch and then it can be driven down to the
drop off point.
20 tonnes of stone will be delivered to the point where the
mulch is to be deposited. This will give the opportunity to lay
small amounts of materials where there are signs of erosion.
Neil is hoping to bring a roller. I will see what tools I can
get hold. Shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows etc will come in handy if
you are able to bring them.

send you a plan detailing the meeting point and working area.
