Greenlaning Invite (Past) you're too late!

Got an invite to go out with the series one guys last weekend to
do some Cumbrian lanes
I've only been greenlaning twice before, so was looking forward
to the challenge of Parkamoor
Sadly for us there was a fell running event on, with 200+
fuckers running down where we wanted to head up, bollocks!
Ok, good excuse to go and try again another day
Thought I'd share the vidoe of the fun, don't ask me where we
went, I was just following the leafer in front, but did see one
sign for Tilberthwaite?
Lakes are stunning.... when it's sunny!

Nice great vid, I like the way the leafers are just plodding
through on tickover with no fuss, looks like some tasty lanes,
love it around there.
The big slate quarry is Hodge Close, well worth a mooch around
for any explorer types heading up Coniston way, if you go down
in to the quarry there are some short tunnels to explore, and if
you walk in round the back you can get right to the mangled
steel platform.
The platform used to be complete when I first started climbing
there but a few years ago the whole face peeled off a big layer,
makes you wonder how long the big arch will stay up.
