       Mention of M1 construction reminds me of it arriving in t'West
       Riding, between Barnsley and Wakefield. Pissing distance to
       Caphouse.
       Divided a lot of communities, provided very little local
       employment, which, at the time, which was temporary at best.
       Bit of work at Woolley Edge Services now, but nowt to speak of.
       M1 should have done a U-turn at Watford Gap IMHO.

       i think we picked the coldest,windiest day ever to go on it -
       chuffin freezing  :haha:
       i asked the bloke why there were no windows in it and he said if
       there was windows in it would blow over in high winds  :-?  he
       was probably right - but that day it was one of those 'lazy
       winds' it couldnt be bothered to blow round you - it just blew
