Although I know that the Centurion tanks has been gone years,
I don't think it is that long since the MoD got rid of some
Centurion chassis based vehicles, mainly that Beach thing that
the booties used to use and that plowing thing that the
       Engineers used to use.
A bit like the FV432 series is still in use in some units,
although in reality it has been replaced as an APC by the
Warrior, in other arms it is still in use as a non infantry
       carrying vehicle.

Can't really add much but there may be more of this sort of
thing to come as we now have the spares contract.

The question has to be asked, if these are left hand that point
to the possibility of right handed sets, if so where are they?

Its the MoD. Probably sold all the right-handed ones to Jordan
       in 1965.

REME at Bovington camp used a couple of Centurions without
turrets for driver training in the late 80s, probably quite a
       while after too.
I was going to do my tracked vehicle licence test in one but had
a fireplace dropped on my hand the week before :smiley-furious:

A friend of mine was looking for a exhaust for his Walker
Bulldog tank and found some original ones in stock at a place in
       France.
