With any luck, I could be in one of two Carawagons this year (or
Patrick might be in one, with me in the other to swell the
ranks!).
I've just picked up a '66 S2 to put my 'spare' Carawagon roof on
8)
Just need a week or so to complete the interior and restore the
roof - should be possible, shouldn't it ;)

Looks another booked up weekend in my diary, will have to get my
hands out of my pockets and get one of the many projects
finished in time for the show.

Few piccies from last years show ....
A solely leafsprung landrover show with proceeds going to the
NCM (National coal mining museum)
We had a damn good turn out of leafers from a very tasty
Tickford station wagon to a 88" Searle carawagon AND everything
in-between ...concours restored motors to workaday examples .
If you love series landys you NEEDED to be there ...Honestly .
Autojumble was good (and cheap) and the leafer fans were out in
abundance ...weather was kind to us ...all in all a stonking
weekend

seems like there's going to be at least three of us from the
west midlands coming up, Simon (Ashowman) 58Paul and myself at
present, i might manage to convince one or two others that it's
an event not to be missed
