       Tyre Pressures?

Is there a 'book listing' for such values on an 88''? ( assuming
it would be for 650's) ........
................and if there is , would anyone like to hazard an
educated guess to what they would be for 750's, 235/85/16, or
       in fact 265/75/16????
There is, of course the danger that someone will have to look at
a 90 handbook to find out, but fuck it, i want to know

       I've 205 MT's and I've always run at 30psi, give or take a psi
or two. I've 4 different tyre gauges and every one reads a
different pressure when you try them though so fuck knows what
       they actually are in reality!!

27 front and 42 to 45 rear on 7.50 on the Carawagons (Avon
Rangemasters on mine, Michelin XZY on Patrick's) - they are
always heavily loaded, just sometimes more than others
       :rolleye0012:
We use the Debender 110 SW (probably the nearest modern
equivalent) pressure recommendations for 7.50 radials of Front:
       27 Rear: 38 to 47.
Don't forget the figures from S2 or S3 manuals will be for
crossplies, unless anyone has a late S3 manual?

I am assuming that HHH was quoting from a late ( very late )
owners manual for an 88,................
................so late in fact, that the rear lights had
drifted apart cos Mr Brake Light and Mrs Indicator Light
couldn't agree on the future of Land Rover
       :smilewide:
Thanks for the info everyone; I shall experiment!
