       Handbrake & flickering lights

So Im a bit stumped!(easily done ;D) The 88 is due its mot so I
reckons the headlights may need adjustment so gets in,starts the
sod & turns lights on as one does. On releasing the handbrake,
the headlights start flickering & the hi beam blue light glows
*help*Pull up the brake & all works ok! Although I have tested
all the lights since buying the landy a few months ago, this is
the first time I have needed to use it at night. My only thought
could be a bad earth but thats a wild stab in the dark
:smilewide: I doubt anyone has come across this wierd one but
       any advice is gladly received!

I hope its as easy as that Thorpey but it would be worthwhile
replacing the earth straps for what they cost! Thanks for
       answering!

With the battery under the seat, I attached a chunky earth cable
from a bolt on the gearbox direct to the battery & it made no
difference to the flickering :2mo5pow: Then bolted a cable to
one of the bolts on top of the air con mount, switched on
electrics and looked for a good ground to see if the flickering
would stop. Found one & lights stabilised straight away ;D
       Cheers Thorpey ;-)

Phew..... ;D. I always tell people you don't need aircon in a
series cos the bulkhead vents do a brilliant job. Problem is
it's usually when a gallon of sweat is running down my face...
       :haha:
