200 tdi conversion - plumbing query

Thought I had been dead clever and got my plumbing all sorted
for the new Dormobile - until I thought of filling it with water
so I could run the engine a bit longer.
No where to fill it!! :haha:
I had plumbed it like the series - for a rad cap, but of course
have used the tdi rad this time.
Any tips please?
I have a 300 tdi hose with lots of other bits joining it and a
200 tdi reservoir with 2 outlets on the bottom but 3 hoses as t
seem to eminate from a valve (non return?) type thing

The Tdi rad has a screw in cap thing in the top corner does it
not?

It has - but I have also found out that the pipe that pokes out
above the oil cooler top pipe is where the rad reservior feeds
into so I am getting there!

Have you not got the puke tank/expansion bottle fitted Alex
...In theory AFAIK when the engine gets up to temperature the
coolant expands and is held in the expansion bottle ready for
when it cools down again and is sucked back into the coolant
circuit.
Saves on having to top it up every time OR run with a less than
full coolant load .
The expansion tank also has the filler cap on it

Got one - not sure what to do with it. It has 2 outlets (at the
bottom)

Expansion tank should be plumbed into the bottom hose IIRC. If
you get a disco bottom hose, it should have a moulding with a
"T" branch for said tank already in it.
