Robin, of this parish, does a great deal for breather kits
I quote from the Series 2 club -
I sell these Axle Breather kits on ebay Item #220871522007, and
I've also sold a few to forum/club members.
The kits are made up of two breather swivels, 10m of high impact
nylon tubing, 20 12" cable ties, a wading plug and a Y
connector.
There's a full description HERE on the ebay site.
Anyone wanting to order directly from me rather than ebay, can
send me a PM and save £1.00 over the ebay price.
Cost to forum/S2C members is £11.99 per kit, including P&P.
These kits can also be used for overdrive/transfer box etc. and
are especially useful for overdrives which tend to spit their
oil out of the breather hole.
If you haven't got the kit to drill & tap the overdrive/transfer
box top plate, I'm happy to do that for you if you send them to
me. I'll then send them back with the kit - cost would be just
an extra £2 for the additional P&P.
I've sold quite a few of these, through ebay and to club
members, and everyone seems pleased with them :)
Any questions, please PM or email me.
Cheers,
Robin.
Hope that helps
Alex

Ooer, that's an old post Alex, from Oct 2011 :o
I'm still selling the kits on ebay and direct (at a discount),
but the component prices have risen since then and I now include
a wading plug, plus the cost of post has gone up!
The current ebay price is £13.49 (inc. wading plug) + P&P of
£3.25 (post is £2.60 + padded envelope).
The ebay link is HERE

/>though if anyone on here wants a kit, please contact me
directly
rather than on ebay.
Cheers,
Robin.

Is the axle thread the same as on a boingy? I keep meaning to
steel the breather pipes off one of them but never remember when
I see one.

On a series i believe the breather hole threads are 1/4" BSP
(which is bigger than the 1/4" description suggests).

They're certainly not 1/4" bsp, I'd put money on them being 1/8"
bsp, I'll be able to confirm that later, got some 1/8" bsp
fittings in the garage just waiting for an opportunity to
'acquire' some tube :rolleye0012:
