WTF? It worked, now it doesn't...

Soooo, yesterday I was refitting the truckcab and putting new
window channels in (what a bastard job that is) the rear window.
When I'd finished I decided I'd move the truck back a few feet
to give me more room to get the ns wing painted later on. Engine
starts on first turn of the key which is nice, but I couldn't
get it in gear. After a bit of crunching and grinding I
eventually managed to select reverse and off I went backwards
but the bite point was almost immediate.
When I bled the clutch it was a quick 'that'll do" job, so
decided I'd do a proper job now. The Land Rover had other ideas.
It won't bleed at all, I was getting nothing at all from the
nipple. So I set up the pressure bleeder, and after an initial
purge of what fluid was in the system already (which was all
brown and discoloured) all I got was air with the occassional
bit of fluid. Taking the pressure bleeder off (in case it was
helping air to get in past the nipple threads) I got nothing but
air, but there's no effort at all in the pedal.
It all worked perfectly well before - what can go wrong with
such a simple system that hasn't even had to do any work at all?
:banghead

Have you got the pedal free play set right,
Sounds not to be, if it isn't the inlet valve to the cylinder
won't be open this no fluid can ge into the system

I wouldn't have thought that was it -it worked fine before. I
haven't touched the clutch system anywhere since I first bled it
a while back. It worked fine, then when I tried it yesterday it
didn't, and wouldn't bleed (whereas it bled fine before). It's
like some evil bastard came along in the night and "did"
something...

How old is the flexi hose, sometimes they internally collapse,
by that i mean you get a little flap that opens and closes not
allowing fluid though one way but fine the other
I had it once with a brake flexi :banghead

It's brand new, fitted a few weeks ago. Slave cylinder is new,
but the master is original Girling. I'll investigate more later
on, I was too annoyed yesterday and it was F1 qually time.

Well I'll be buggered.
Clutch bled up today, no issues. I haven't touched a thing
I'm thinking the mc must be goosed, letting in air slowly or
something. I'll keep my eye on it for a while and if it goes
weird again I'll fit a new one, and see if that cures it.

Put an extra turn on the outlet connection, even a small leak
there may not show signs of fluid but will let air get sucked in
each time the pedal returns.
