the mother in law is planning to move house
i have known for a while that the entire contents of the garage
would be left to me after her day
that day has had to be brought forward
her husband who past away before i knew the family was
apparently much like me and liked to fix things
its taken a while so far and will continue on no doubt but it
slowly being empitedand fetched back to mine
most things are old but of good quality so will replace some of
my cheaper tools
and some are just rare/of no use to me so i will have to e-bay
them and give the proceeds back
i found this - yes i know its a compressor and yes it works -
anyone tell me more about it :-?

if you dont know its for blowing tyres up - you take a spark
plug out and screw this in - the old ideas are the best
:smilewide:
still sorting through stuff and will be for a bit - but i'll
post pics of the stranger things i find

the compressor is the hydrovane type, i had one years ago minus
motor that was twin chambered giving two levels of output, i
never got to use it as i left it with a friends dad who was
going to tinker with it and try to set it up, i moved from the
area before it ever got up and running
the tyre compressor/engine adaptor works fine just DO NOT rev
the engine as you will burst the pipe just like i did on my dads
one when i was about 12, use it on tick-over only
i like jerry cans but i've already got 4
we need to see the other goodies, i like old tools, i've just
collected my "new" lathe and temporarily assembled it in my dads
shed until i get somewhere sorted here at home, i can't use it
there though as the electricity supply won't handle the current
draw :smiley-furious:

Broom-Wade also made compressor conversions for Series LR
motors.... That's a doozy, and needs keeping, could you run it
off a PTO/Generator?

my father inlaw may be interested in the WD jerrycans for his
Bedford QLT.
I'll check and pm you!
Cheers
