I drive past this 80in a couple of times a year. Saw the owner
pottering in her garden so decided to stop for a chat. Mad as a
box of Frogs and absolutely convinced the number-plate is worth
£3.5k .... Doubt it'll ever move again
:(

I reckon the Morris Oxford front lights are the most valuable
part of it..... I would roll it just like that.

There's one not five hundred yards from where I live.
Nowhere near as complete as that one.
Bloke's convinced it's worth stupid money.
He'll not sell it for that reason.
If I offered him fifty thousand for it he'd be certain it was
worth more :wanker:

You get people like that and it is irritating. But then they'll
die eventually having never seen a hypothetical penny.

Apart from the doors and sidelights that doesn't look too messed
with.

About ten years ago I happened across two series ones sat gently
dissolving away in a field in West Ardsley. I enquired but
nobody could determine the actual owners. One was a fetching
yellow and I think (but not 100% sure now) it was an ex AA
patrol vehicle. The other was a light blue and was also liveried
up but I can't remember exactly how.
About 18 months ago I was in the same area and on slowing down
as I past the entrance to the field I saw they were still there,
only more of a pile of corroded metals and brambles than
salvageable motors. Sad, really.
