Now i ve lifted the front shackles i have now and then the
horrible death wheel wobble. fucks sake, I have found a track
rod end thats knocking like fuck so il order one of those. I
will maybe tighten the steering box a bit and il check the
swivels arent all loose and take a shim out.
Anything else i can check? i do have a mount for a steering
damper on the steering rod so wise to fit one??

Will a damper just mask the symptoms of the problem?
I'd just try one thing at a time in an attempt to sort it.

I have had the wheel wobble come and go in the past, sometimes
just down to the road, getting the tracking done did help a lot.
Also on a previous landy I had really bad wheel wobble when I
checked around it, I found had lost one wheel stud and a couple
more on the same wheel where on the way.
Worth a check on all studs??

A relay will sort it. As for masking the fault, it's made to do
exactly that. I fitted one to mine and it made the world of
       difference.

Relay? I looked at me post again.... I am CERTAIN I meant to
type "damper"... Hmm. I'm not pissed yet either...... Erm...
       Damper, not relay!

I never did with mine... using combat shackles all round on
       standard hangers.

I purchased a damper and chassis bracket for it, then was
advised get the tracking done first. Got that done - damper
still sits in it's box and not too much in the way of wobble.
