       Today I........

Realised the Old One had been a bit neglected of late so I :-
Changed the engine oil and filter, topped up the main 'box,
checked the transfer box and overdrive levels, similarly the
axles and the swivel hubs. Checked and regapped the plugs.
       Re-oiled the filler and breather.
But then doom and gloom, the dampness on the radiator is a leak
and it's not from the Kenlowe mounts. Looks like *hitpart will
be getting some money out me for a new rad.

Went to the lr spring show today.
£13 each to get in and had done the lot in 2hrs. Got a couple of
bits for ffragle. The auto jumble was tiny and mainly boingy
       shit.

I had to buy a new rad last year after an incident with a
Pheasant, I ended up getting a Bearmach one from here for the
       same price:

Encouragingly, it was in a proper Bearmach box not a shitpart
one with a BM label on it, and it seems to be working fine so
       far!

I went to Harrogate today too. Picked up a few bits for my swb
including a set of 7.50s 8) and drank loads of tea with the
       classic camper boys.

Removed my rad, due to it pissing water out. Mite try a temp fix
with areldite, as I have a 200tdi with all the bits and bobs to
go with it waiting in the garage...... Oh and I painted my
       fence.

After further investigation I may have been a bit hasty. The
dampness had spread over the fins of the radiator making it
difficult to see where it was starting. I now think it has been
leaking around the tapered rubber piece that Kenlowe supply to
allow the temp sender capiliary to pass into the header. I've
removed the Kenlowe completely and am back on a mechanical fan
       for now.

       Who, us? :smilewide:
When we got there to set up on Friday the organisers were
running around like blue arsed flies as they'd been forbidden to
use nearly 60% of the showground after last week's rain, and so
we were all being squashed in to the remaining 40%
       :smiley-furious:
The Great Yorkshire Show is on in a few weeks, and after they
had to cancel last years' show due to ground conditions, they
weren't taking any chances this year!
We were lucky and got quite a big pitch, and as we all sleep in
our vehicles we had all the space other club stands take up with
caravans and tents to play with
I suspect quite a few traders, and even some clubs, gave up on
Friday and went home, hence it was much smaller than it should
       have been.
Then again, we don't really go for the show - our main purpose
for going to these things is the free weekend camping (just
don't tell the organisers that :rolleye0012:), but we have to
make it look like we're putting on a good show!

This weekend I gave this inside a good clean out, with the help
of my lad. Then attacked the odd rusty speck on the side steps.
Repainted them and the rear crossmember Then washed and t cut
Misty Also stuck an old RAC badge an AA badge and GB badge to
the front grill. Looks good now.

Oh Yes Put new vent seals in too. The others were shot at and
stuck to the vents were a previous person had painted them.
       Idiot
