       Hi there

       Afternoon, another noob here.
Well, I dont actually own a "leafer" to myself, but I do have a
half-share arrangement in a 109 shed bitsa. I know the eccentric
old reclusive bloke who owns it but barely used it, and convince
him to let me buy into it and drive it (or, well, get it back on
the road/keep it there depending on whats broken and when the
tax/mot is due). I think it was once an early 70s S3 but I know
it has a later 5 bearing engine in it for starters.
I'm a long time lurker of various forums to do with anything
vintage and British, be it Landys, military gear, sports cars or
aeroplanes - especially the national flag carriers .
Occasionally I drop in to have a natter on some of them, or to
ask for help. I think I joined another Landy one ages ago to ask
a few tech questions on the 109 but wwasnt overly impressed...
a few people have mentioned this one over the years so I thought
I'd give it a go. If work slows down enough I might get my arse
into gear and appear on here with some questions about fixing it
at some point! I noticed your quite interesting signup rules say
you dont like lurkers so I guess I'd better join in now and then

       Thanks for the welcomes everyone!
Chally2 - unfortunately I do not. The mad old bloke won't let me
post pictures online, he's one of these privacy obsessed tinfoil
hatters that almost fear modern tech

As he is still the RK, and the vehicle lives in his miniature
steptoe's yard, I have to do as he says (frustrating as that is)

Oh mate I feel for you. Are you sure you are entering a
partnership with the right person. He sounds a little too
       controlling.
