laning weekend in Weardale Co Durham 29th/30th June-1st July

All this laning down south got us thinking about a laning
weekend up here in the frozen north. We are going to look at a
pub/campsite in Weardale this week to check out a possible venue
near Middleton in Teesdale. Looking late April/May time or
around the 6th July weekend. There are some very nice lanes
around check out Doctors gate on youtube. Lots to good places to
visit High force/ Stanhope and the like. Anyone got any thoughts
preference on dates. More info to follow after pub visit.

Well we had a look at the pub/campsite and we dont think the
campsite part of the combo is that good. There are a couple of
other sites near bye that we will look into and get back to you.
Thinking of dates how does the july date sound.

Mick,
I can highly reccomend a campsite over at Kirkoswald near to
Penrith ....might be A bit put of the area you are looking at
though ......
Cracking friendly site tho and has bunk houses for folks not
wanting to camp ...
Let me know if you want the details
