Series III 109' Restoration
By: Mextli Date: May 12, 2013, 2:08 am

Hey
After a while of looking I found a Series III LWB, and bought
it. It's an Ex-Military truck, with a few modifications, and the
Chassis has some rust, so I will restore it in the next few
Weeks/Months/Years/
I've got a picture of it

Had a Test-Drive now, after we replaced the Battery. It started
up okay, but lots and lots of smoke poured out from the bonnet-
At first i though it was the leaking coolant hose, but in
reality, the exhaust was leaking.
Battery is just charging at the workshop, tomorrow I'll fix the
coolant hose.

More or Less. Won't start pulling it apart propably till in 2
weeks, since the workshop where I'll take it apart is blocked by
another Series of my Riding Teacher...

Have done some work over the last week.
Seatboxes, floor and Gearbox tunnel are off.
Rear tub is almost off, just being held by the electrical leads.
just need to get the wings off and we can start welding the
chassis.
