I hardly dare mention it but I also had power steering
fitted.The pump, of course, was on the disco 200 , so while the
front was off the brilliant Mick Muir suggested it.He proceeded
to alter the front cross member and put a 4bolt power steering
box in.
Maybe a mod too far for some but I would love you to try it and
tell me it was a mistake!

Don't mention power steering to my mate, he'll be after be after
then too!
I certainly don't intend to put it on though while doing the
engine swap. Time is of the essence.
Unfortunately I too have been back in hospital so progress is
extremely slow. I have help arriving in late June for a few days
so hopefully progress can be made then.

I'd love to help (We're over your way every monday afternoon
for "classes" this month :rolleye0012:) but as you can imagine
time's about to get very tight!

Progress has been made recently! With help from a good friend,
Jude now has a number of patches on the chassis (hopefully the
MoT man won't find any more holes!) and among other things the
new 200tdi engine has been delivered by my beloved Doreen.

In actual fact, the engine is now in Jude, but I'm struggling to
download those pictures. Will take some more tomorrow.

Fuck me that's some serious coily content in that first
photograph! In fact, the Sanky is the only thing in that image
that hasn't been spawned by Satan.
