Question for the moderators (don't know where else to post it).

For the attention of the moderators, please:
I've just bought a SimonBBC electronic dizzie and coil kit for
my 88 on recommendation of someone on here. Haven't yet fitted
it. SimonBBC have got an offer on at the moment that gives you
15% of the purchase price back if you post a short report and a
       link to their site.
Is it permissible for me to post a report and link to SimonBBC
in this forum, so as to get me 15% back, or should I take my
tawdry, moneygrabbing activities to fora primarily designed for
       inferior vehicles?
       Cheers

       Seems fair enough ...
Think theres a few folks on here that have the kit anyway ...and
plenty others that "might" be interested in it ...well IF it was
       free anyway :rolleye0012:

Steady on, Icey. The last N00b on here who was going on about
these Simon BBC things, the one who was asking opinions because
he reckoned he wanted to buy one, turned out to be some bloke
       who was flogging them!
If this guy is one and the same I'll have no hesitation in
       fucking him off. :executioner:
If someone wants to sell something that's of use to leafer
owners then all well and good, providing they're up front about
it and don't bullshit us or try underhanded tactics.
gimptrainee - have you got any connection with Simon BBC? Don't
lie to me - we have ways of finding out...

       Umm, I've got a little itch.....down there.....would you mind?
(acknowledgement to James Bond, strapped in a chair, having his
bollocks beaten to death in Casino Royale. Not drawing
       comparisons or anything... :rolleye0012:).
Right, I suppose I'd better defend myself in OLLR good
       style.........................:
No, I'm not selling the fucking things nor do I have any
connection with the company. I'm not even sure I'll be able to
install the bastard without asking help from you lot.
If you want to see a picture of my modest S3 88 with its shite
parabolics (which have now settled unevenly over the winter so
its got a permanent list to starboard) then have a look at my
       first few posts.
I really like reading this forum and the collective wisdom and
wit of leafer owners and maybe contributing a bit myself. I
don't care how few people see any mention I might make of the
bit of kit in question as it would only be to get me tenner
back. If it would piss off the regulars here then I'll do the
dirty deed elsewhere. Perhaps somewhere I can finally get decent
advice on how to fit 22" rotor alloy wheels to my S3.
       No offence intended, Dave. :)

       For what it's worth …
I have recently bought the same and saw the same offer. I didn't
think it was the right thing to do.
I don't pay to come on here so why should I make money from it?

Fair point, Darkside. And it could get out of hand if lots of
people start doing it with different products.
       G
PS. I was joking about the blingy rotor allloys.

I fitted one of his fully electronic dizzys to my VW Beetle and
it seemed to work very well indeed. I would happily use another,
or the conversion kit. I have heard of people having problems,
but the bits I've had from him were all OK.
       Glen.

If you post a report saying its a shit piece of kit and not
worth a :wanker: do you still get ££ back.
