LPG Timing

Hello All
Managed to run Misty to work and back today on the LPG. She ran
fine and managed to hit around 55mph at one point, idled ok too.
What sort of timing mark am i looking at to get the best out of
her? Due for MOT next week and was going to get mechanic to set
it.
Thanks in advance all advice welcome.
Andy

DISCLAIMER: I don't own an LPG vehicle, or have ever set the
ignition on an LPG vehicle!
Having said that, common sense suggests you can run much more
ignition advance than on petrol.
Despite a lower calorific value than petrol, LPG has a higher
octane rating than petrol.
Hence it should be much less susceptible to pre-ignition, and as
such enabling more ignition advance,
I'll be putting an LPG equipped 2.5 into Leonard at some point,
so I too would be interested in how much advance other people
are running.
I'm actually considering running megajolt on coil packs, so that
I could run two ignition maps - one for petrol and one for LPG.

I ran mine around 12btdc
Could go more on gas, but beyond that was completely undrivable
on petrol
Ideally you need a more advanced, but flatter advance curve. But
with dizzy all you can change is the start point not the shape
of the advance map

Is that 12btdc static or with the engine running and if so at
what sort of idle speed ,interested as i also run gas.
