Cheers Wooden, it was just something my dad had kicking around,
and its abit different to the usual cubby boxes. funny really
for such a big vehicle theres very little storage space.

Cheers Jim, Im glad you like the thread, and Im glad that
yourself and the many others who have helped me along the way
can find ideas and inspiration from it, it makes it feel not
totally worthless. As it feels that way sometimes. :)

Hello Folks, I hope your all well,
right a fair been has happened recently, one the electrics at
the front end are finished and the bulkhead is off for painting.
whilst the bulkhead has been off so far Ive welded up all the
holes that are no longer needed and Ive convented the hand
trottle lever into a heater control to the heater valve on the
back of the 200 tdi head so at least it has a fuction now.
also Ive got the seatbox into primer and a pair of panels made
for over the fuel tanks, and Ive starting panel bashing on the
wings.
Ive changed the sidelamps to double filerment bulbs so they
operate as indicators as well, the reasons for doing this is one
I rather like the look but more importanly the area behind the
indicators is quite badly corroded and its easy just to fill the
holes in.
hopfully some picces tomorrow (or rather later on today now that
Ive seen the time. ::) )
Regards Chris

Im glad your still enjoying this as much as I am, my dad has
sprayed the bulkhead, transmission tunnel, dash panel and the
front panel for me this week while I was at work. so big thanks
to dad. I will post picces soon .
today Ive fitted gaiters to both propshafts and Ive started
stripping the steering box because it leaks but I cant see how
this was possible as the oil resembled treacle and Im pretty
sure its the original stuff from 1962 ::)

Very nice  great feeling getting paint on big bits like
that especially when you look at the before photos and see the
progress.
