Cheers Mate, Been honest I`m surprised I havent yelled sod it
before now and sold the lot, but hey keep ploddin on.
It`s all gone slow for a few days since my rover 114 gsi front
pipe decided it`s had enough of been in one piece, bloody
twattin thing, suppose Im lucky it`s let go now while Im at the
parents for xmas.
so my great plan is to hopefully tub finished (not painted)
metalwork wise :
the toolboxes made and fitted.
the new rear cross rail fitted (old one removed along with 3"
from the bottom of each of the rear quarters).
the plywood for the floor varnished (don`t worry I`m not going
for the shiny shiny look) and fitted
the whole thing primered underneath.
so just a small list to be going on with, oh and in middle of
all that there`s this thing called christmas, bugger .
p.s merry xmas :)
Regards Chris

Hello, I hope you all had a good christmas and new year.
now I have got nothing done on the land rover for about two
weeks due too my rover 114 quite literally falling apart, the
front footwells and jacking points were totally knackered, I
finished them today, painted and undersealed.
but Ive got the floor the tub on trestles in the garage and had
one coat of varnish so far.

also I brought a new rear rail for the tub as the original one
is past its best shall we say along with the rear door threshold
and seal so at some point be fitting these.

Ive got both tanks rigged up with pipes, change over tap/switch
and a return into the driver side tank.

Cheers folks, its nice to know what folks think about it all.
I've picked up the latest copy of clr and I really like the red
109" with a 200tdi, but also I quite like the white body sides,
so debating white or red body sides? what do you think ?
My dad finished varnishing the floor for me while I was at work.
so going to have a trail fit today ( whats left of today anyway
::) )
Many Regards Chris

G'day matey, like i have said before i am impressed but that
change over tap will it be good for diesel :-? i only mention
this as most use a polark valve or different type if that's
spelt correct and i have only used that type of change over tap
on a petrol.
Just a thought but keep up the good work i look forward to what
you have achieved each time i log on.
Catch you later. R-Rose .

hi keep up the good works.
re-colour scheme. i personally think using two colours on a van
is nice (if that is what you referring to :P)
landy red van top white, same as green landy and white van top
(the way mine was before i switched to pick up )
you can also do all landy and side panels red and roof top
white. options are all at your discretion. It will be a good
looking rover anyways :)
