Hey folks, how`s it going? I'm glad you all like her.
Blenky, no offence taken pal haha.
She`s going alright, we`ve had a few niggles of course, like the
drivers side wiper arm flinging itself into oblivion on the 171
out of whitby in what can only be described as a monsoon in
july, spent 20 minutes getting pissed wet through looking for
the damn thing only to find it grinning smugly up at me with not
scratch on it.
on a more serious note she will randomly pull either left or
right whilst braking and then sometimes will pull up straight as
a die. ??? I could understand if it was constant too one side.
I'm hoping to get the interior finished for leafers t pit. hope
to see some of you there.

I had the same issues with mine with new shoes. Couldnt get it
to adjust. Eneded up using a flap disc to put a chamfer on the
leading edge of each shoe and problem solved. Hope that helps.

although the brakes seem to be behaving themselves now,so all
good there.

Although next time lash it all down better and divide the load
up on outside edge over the supports.

Beautiful looking Series. Well done on the excellent work you
have put into restoring your land rover. I like the finishing
touch in the form of the galvanised strip on the rear door.

reminiscent of the old split tail gate.

I had the pleasure of seeing this old girl at the Leafers show
today - and she is absolutely stunning! You and your Dad deserve
huge credit for the attention to detail - as I've said before,
if our 109 is anything like as good as this one is, I'll be
absolutely delighted. Your Dad is a star too - very affable and
very informative. We picked up loads of tips, please thank him
once again.
As an aside, having seen this one in the flesh, our choice of
colour for our 109 has changed - its now going to be either
Masai Red or all Limestone - having seen the Pale Green landies
in the flesh we both prefer the red and limestone over the green
lol.
