Wave

Hi Fellow Land Rover Owners
Your out and about having a potter in your land rover. Just a
little drive or even long distance. How many waves do you get
from fellow owners. Wether a good old leaf sprung like the one
you have or a more modern one. I wave all the time family do too
if with me. Get waveback too, manly from older land rovers,
farmers, or kitted out ones, hardly any from newer types. So who
waves ? Lets get a nation waving.

I rarely wave because I'm a miserable bastard trying to
"twin-stick" my heap of shit somewhere.

I usually wave if it looks like an enthusiast vehicle the other
way.
Someone around brigg driving a little old Suzuki 4x4 thing
always waves as well, :-?

Depending upon which ve hicle I'm in......
Pug drivers, couldn't give a toss
mx-5 drivers I always wave if I'm quick enough
But I only wave at Leafers when I'm my truck

It's habit for me - with my MG history. I waved at a Leafer and
an army jeep (well - it WAS the same colour as Lurch used to
be!) Both waved back - which was nice.

Classics always get a wave, but a classic Land Rover and a
classic car usually don't mix. Wave at a classic when in the
SIII and I get no response. Wave at a S1 from the A40 and again
they just ignore me! I will always stop if there's a classic
broken down too, I suppose it's just how I am...
Boingies will occasionally get a wave back, but I will not
initiate such an exchange of hand gestures.

Driving something bright orange I tend to avoid ever making eye
contact with other drivers, you speak to a person once, they
find out you drive an orange Land Rover they all wave then get
annoyed that you didn't wave back at them in their bland euro
box. I never noticed you. Roll on the age of the blue.
Leafers do get a get a wave though.
